Another Memorial Day weekend cook
« Reply #-1 on: May 26, 2014, 04:58:48 PM »
Had another couple over for a bit of food and drink

Appetizers included smoked Gouda, smoked steelhead, sharp cheddar, and smoked goat cheese

Kale fronds crisping - coated with John Henry's chicken seasoning and olive oil

Asparagus treated the same way

Chicken coated with canola oil and John Henry's

Ready to eat!

Whiskey tasting - Scotch and rye

Dessert - fresh fruit topped with sabayon and a scoop of the Rumtopf liqueur which has been steeping for over 10 years now.  I added a 10-year old strawberry to my dessert
