Easy Beef Stew
« Reply #-1 on: May 26, 2014, 11:00:11 PM »
SWMBO'd has been wanting a stew lately to take to work for lunches so when I saw some stew meat on reduced pricing I jumped on the brownie points train. Picked up some potato's, carrot's and an onion to go along with it, browned the meat with some S & P then added it to the crock pot with the veggies more S & P, and a bunch of Rosmary and Thyme. Then I took the last end of a loaf of crusty bread and made some butter sautéed Italian seasoned bread crumbs to top it off. Needless to say I got brownie points and she credits everyone here for inspiring me to take my cooking up a notch or two.
