Ok Lost Arrow

Here we go. 4 all beef patties still frozen going into the crock pot with the Dork Food DSV set to 135F...

Going to leave them in for 90 minutes then a quick grill. Might just do the hot skillet.

Hope they don't just fall apart ::)

I haven't had great success SV from frozen, however, burgers, and my wife loves burgers are surprisingly good SV.
Into some very good custom blends, this place is great if you can afford them http://www.flannerybeef.com/butcher/burger-builder.html

Or, I do my own blends, should probably check out the butcher thread before going on and on ......

I have a tri-pod 30,000 but burner for my disk, that I put my cast iron on to finish ... maybe 5 - 10 seconds per side.

Bear with me on the photos, I have several, just need to get to posting them.

So I left them in for 2 hours. Here is how they looked...

Grabbed some seasoning salt...

Here they are de-bagged and patted dry...

Cutting board is ready...

Super pig coated bacon...

Got the skillet screaming hot and dropped them on...

Turned after one minute then cooked for one minute more. Total time was two minutes...

They look good and juicy...

Made myself a double...

Unhinged my jaw and took a bite...

WOW!!!!

They were excellent!

I did let the frozen patties come up to temp with the water. So I started with cold water then put the burgers in and the started the DSV.

Worked really well!

All I got to say is make sure to use a thick bun because these burgers were juicy!!!
