Glad Brad got it figured out Dee!

Mine will be delivered today however I am working the night shift so it looks like assembly and first cook will be tomorrow.  :'(

I will take out some frozen dough tonight when I get home so it will be ready ;)

Is it here yet?

Got confirmation from the wife that the Uuni 2 was delivered. Unfortunately I am working so it will sit until tomorrow :'(

$299 is a bit spendy for a stainless steel box with legs. Just my opinion.

It is a bargain compared to the cost of a full size wood fired pizza oven.

Heck I wouldn't spend $299 on a pair of shoes but people do.

which is why I think there needs to be a pizza lid with a side window for the 18" OldSmokey ;)

Except for the fact that cutting a pizza slot in the lid of an 18" will make the lid as flimsy as the bottom on OS extended legs. Which could not only be dangerous but as happened to me, a tip over has made the Old Smoky just Old. With a flimsy, easily-bent, oval bottom it can't smoke anymore. So now it's just a very bad lightweight grill! My OS tipped over in wind, but OS won't tell you this about their extended legs before you buy them, but rather after you buy they state that you should not even clean the grate while on the grill with extended legs installed. So in essence you get what you pay for. The stainless Uuni2 @ 299.00 is likely a very good deal in comparison to the Old Smoky, which judging from mine may be in the trash shortly, at less than a year old!  Buyer Beware!

I'm a huge fan of the Old Smokey's, ordered some extended legs for my 22" and took them off. Just seemed to rickety. I have no problems with the standard height of the legs.

Well Good Morning Everyone! I have received a surprise Birthday present the other day and its a beauty, the brand new UUNI 2! So it took me a few to put it together, not too quick with that stuff and the directions were quite helpful, for someone else!
So I finally got it together, made the pizza dough and then realized I didn't have my torch, so it made it difficult to get lit, but we overcame that. You can see the progression of the pics below, the hardest part was keeping the pellets stoked, I ranged the temp from 758 to 454, need to figure out a better way to keep it going. But with that said, it is COMPLETELY AWESOME, i do not see anything else being eaten but pizza for quite awhile!

Very cool!

Mine is still in the box. I plan on opening up in an hour or two then making a couple pizzas for lunch. My review will be later ;)
