Title: Cornbread
Post by: BCG on February 16, 2021, 06:28:51 PM
Hey all,

We’re in Texas currently a bit below freezing and without power.

I’ve got a pot of chili on an outdoor propane burner and I want to give a pan of jiffy cornbread mix a shot in the SRG. Unfortunately, I loaned by brother in law my grill thermometer and haven’t got it back yet.

Anyone have any tips on where to set the temp knob for something like that? Directions on the mix say to do in the oven @ 400°

Thanks in advance!

I used high or even Med high setting to do bread

Just need to keep and eye on it while it cooks

SRG will do just fine, but I would put it on a lower rack because it gets hotter at the top and leave the lid open after about 5 or so minutes. It works, from experience.  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
