We don't get too many snow days here in Albuquerque... I was planning a cook (some ribs) in the PBC today. Not gonna happen.
The cookers all covered with snow

Looks like this one made up for the ones you missed.
Pretty scenery, though.
Just sayin'...

Great photos!

You do know that if you get that PBC going, all that snow will melt! :D
-
Pretty bright outside at 4am with all that snow :P
I am getting cold just looking at it :o

That second picture of the back yard with the brick fence reminds me of the my old neighborhood off of Comanche Road and Moon (NE). Those power wires made for great hot air balloon catchers. :D

Yep, we're just up the street from your old neighborhood, another block east near Eubank and Candelaria.

Sorry for your weather - but GREAT pictures!

We should get some snow later today but nothing like that.

Stay safe and warm :)

If this thread is where one voices discontentment with the weather, I want to be a contributor.
Where I live, in the last 60 days the temperature got above freezing 3 times. It was below zero 34 times.
Oh yeah, we got some snow, too.
There. I feel much better now. Thank you.

Y'all keep that stuff over there, we are still running around in short sleeves, playing golf, riding the Harley, and going out on the boat. 8)

I love that last pic best! Isn't it amazing how much light the snow reflects at night?

For once, ABQ got more snow than we did down here in Roswell. Just over five inches here, most of it before sunrise yesterday morning. A lot of it melted yesterday--even tho the high temp was all the way up to 24! But, resulted in streets and roads of ice today. Stayed in--supposed to warm up tomorrow and planning on doing that feta cheese chicken recipe I bookmarked from this site. Getting ready to do the marinade shortly. If still too nasty and cold out tomorrow, will do it in the oven. Looking forward to it. Weather better clear up, father-in-law will be 100 two weeks from tomorrow. Planning on doing a brisket, ribs and chicken/turkey for the mobs that are coming. No way to do all that in the ovens. Gotta be done outside, and most of it ahead of time so we can enjoy the days with each other instead of worrying bout cooking. Going to start week after next, fairly early in the week.

Y'all can keep all that white stuff Alabama got snow Wednesday, some areas got 12 inches and more. We got an inch or a little more in the Birmingham area and it shut the city down.
-
My truck had frost on it two days this week! Come on spring!
The pics are great... I like to visit snow . On a Mountian, where I can come back down out of it...

The best thing about snow in Albuquerque, you get to enjoy it for a night and maybe a day, then it's back to sunshine!
Here's a before/after pic the next morning...
