My neighbor gave me a bag of boneless/skinless chicken breasts. I don't care much for boneless/skinless chicken breasts so I had Smoochy take care of todays cook 8)

Smoochy used all of Phil's most excellent Instant Gourmet rubs: Original, Carribean, Southwest and Awake a Steak

All seasoned and ready for the smoker

What smoker should we use today Smoochy? The Smokin-it electric smoker...that should help keep em moist!!

3 hours later cooked at 225 to an internal temp of 160

Nice of your neighbor to hook up with them breastesses ;D, great job my brotha from anotha motha. When did you get an electric smoker?
-
Yummy looks great

Grabbed it last month. Found an outfit that sells em for just about half the price of what the others sell theirs for.
The Pamster ordered one and got hers Friday. The owner tossed in a nice cover for free!!
Those breastesses still came out a tad bit dry...even going lo and slo with the great moisture these electric smokers provide.

Nice looking breastesses :P
That happens with skinless chicken breasts. Nothing a blanket of bacon won't fix ;)

I season the breasts and then wrap in bacon and another dusting of the seasoning. Always moist if you measure the IT and take them out in time. I like to do tenders that way and when in the fridge, they are nice snack finger food. Phil

Oh yeah, BACON ;D
And if the chicken turns out not fit to eat, the bacon will still be great!

These breasts were definitely "Backyard" Hub ;D ;D

Looks good.
Which flavor did you like best?

The original is really hard to beat but I was a little surprised how much I liked the southwest. Might try that on my next brisket..........Awake a Steak seems like it can be used on everything. Sodium is low on all the rubs which is nice..........
