I set the cube on the charcoal grill in the kettle. Light it up and set the chimney starter over it. Very easy to dump the coals when ready because the starter is right inside the grill. Best way to go, especially if it is breezy.

Nice setup, RAD. For really long cooks and good smoke, I like to use the Smokenator -http://smokenator.comIt is made specifically for the Weber Kettle. Deb gave me one for Christmas last year and I really enjoy using it...takes a lot of the guess work out of it and once it's dialed in, you just add bring every hour.
