Title: Lamb Ribs
Post by: jani80k on July 04, 2014, 03:34:58 PM
For the World Cup 2014 quarter finals Germany vs France I decided to make some lamb ribs today. There is a muslim butcher shop in my city where they prepare the lamb ribs really well. They cut the bones and prepare the ribs in a way that makes it really easy to tear them apart after they are done. In my opinion, they are the experts when it comes to lamb. I used the PBC Beef and Game Rub plus some additional rosemary.
I did not have any problems with the fire going out on me any more. Everything worked perfectly today. I tried them dry and with sauce. Either way was unbelieveably delicious.

That is a beautiful job cooking those lamb ribs jani! Glad to hear your PBC temps are where they should be! Next time you throw lamb ribs on the PBC I'd like to be there!!!!!  I love lamb meat especially with a glass of a full body red wine!  Again, nice job buddy!

I bet they tasted even better after beating Zee French.
Do you wash PBC inside? Coz it looks spotless.

As soon as I am done cooking, I remove the charcoal basket wearing a heat protective glove and dump the coals in a kettle that is next to the PBC. I then immediately wipe the inside of my PBC with paper towels. This way I can remove the liquid creosote before it sticks.
