Saturday Night Meatloaf and Mac' n Cheese
« Reply #-1 on: November 12, 2016, 08:33:40 PM »
With the colder temps, comfort foods are in demand. We were both hungry for meatloaf, and I was dyin'to try a new recipe for baked mac n cheese. Got the ingredients mixed up after lunch, and refrigerated so everything gets happy. Both dishes needed a 375F bake, so I started the meatloaf first @ 175 for 45 minutes to grab some smoke. Upped the temp to 375F an hour later the mac n cheese was done and resting while the meatloaf took another 10 minutes.  Served with Mrs H's roasted Brussels sprouts.  Definitely comfort food! 8)

Send me some Hamms please. Fagundes seasoning claims Hamms is the only beer that makes a killer marinade with it............

Good looking meal! You can keep those funny looking green things, although my wife loves them. Love the pint beer glass, I have that Ben Franklin quote on a sign.

Nice meatloaf with mac and cheese to go with a Hamm's beer.  Nice
I always though Hamm's had the bar signs.

An ol' Wisconsin boy probably had a couple of Hamm's back in the day!
