After seeing Smoker Pete's
post about smoked turkey, I got motivated to do one.10 pound turkey was seasoned with Meat
Church BBQ’s Holy Gospel rub and smoked at 200 degrees for 3 hours in the Grid Iron pellet grill using Lumberjack MHC. I
then kicked the grill up to 325 to finish. Total cook time, including smoke mode, was 4 hours.
Plated with some cheesy mashed potatoes with bacon!
Very nice change from my regular beef, chicken and pork. Will be doing this again soon!
