Post by: GrillGirl@cookinpellets on June 05, 2015, 10:20:12 AM
What do you guys think about a Pellet Grill you can control from your iPhone or Android device ?! Any one have one? Do you think it is a good idea?

Cool feature the MAK has that I like.

I have a Tappecue and love the ability to monitor the cooker and temps.

Controlling would be nice too.

We sell quite a few products that have phone control. Most work pretty well. Interesting idea.

Me too. Then again, I am never more than a few hundred yards away when my grill is going.

I have Wi-Fi on my gmg Jim bowie.  Love it.  It's really nice of you like to have a adult beverage or three.  So nice to sit in your chair and be able to turn your grill on, adjust the temp and it has profiles programs.  It's wonderful.

I just got a Cyber-Q last week for Fat Boy (not a pellet grill).  Inaugural run was this past weekend up in Lincolnton.  After discovering that, after I changed one of the settings on my iPhone, I had to hit the "Submit" button, it worked great.
