What is your favorite grilling accessory? Do you have an awesome spatula you use, a certain plate you use to showcase your finished product, etc. Comment and tell us!

Since I've been cooking with charcoal and wood so much lately, I have enjoyed using the BBQ Dragon for getting a good fire started - and, in the smoker, for getting the new splits going good when I add them.
I'm using a trick someone recently shared to start the chimney. I set it on the burner I us for the deep fryer. It only takes 3 to 4 minutes until they are ready to hit with the BBQ Dragon. Only takes about half the time to have the coals really hot and ready.

I have a few but the one I find I use the most is my Thermapen.

I'm really liking the electric starter I got in the kamado accessory set recently (I was never a fan of dumping live coals into a ceramic bowl, though I have no problem with doing it in any other cooker).

ALL the above. Too hard to pick just one. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Family and friends... without them grilling wouldn't be much fun.
I have purchased WAAY too many toys along the way. Some have worked well, some are in drawers, some are in the garage, and some are in the shed.
But the one I would not give up is my ThermoPop. Simple, easy to use and reliable. Not as fast as my British Racing Green Thermapen, but close enough for government work. Inexpensive enough that I bought one for each my daughters (so they don't fight over them or try to steal mine.)
Oh, and a really good set of heat resistant gloves.

And here we have it... The answer to the lighter fluid debate.

Why...GRILL GRATES!!! ( of course ::) ;D )
Seriously - I have folks ask me all of the time: " What else can I do to get the most out of my grill?" - I tell tell BUY GRILL GRATES. I have tested them on my pellet grill to see if they really collect heat then - direct it to the top of the Grill Grates - where we actually cook.
At a setting of 350F - I get nice grill marks! Try that sometime without them. You can't do it!
Anyone that is motivated to save fuel costs will understand the value in THIS aspect alone. Some pellet grills can consume 5 lbs. per hour in order to reach 500-600F. But, at 350F - the pellet consumption is about half that.
And...none of the above even starts to address all of the other great benefits of Grill grates. Durability, ease of cleaning, virtually zero flare ups, and the list could go on....

I must say my short little almost jam glass I use for wine is close to the top but, my Maverick ET 732 thermometer is my fav!
