Title: Pork Belly Burnt Ends
Post by: GusRobin on June 17, 2018, 06:41:40 PM
Since a number have posted burnt ends, and I had a pork belly in the freezer I thought I would try it.
Brined the belly overnight and then cut into cubes. Here it is after the brining.

Cut it up into cubes and applied a rub.

After 2 hours, put them in a pan,

Then drizzled some honey, brown sugar, butter, and apple juice. Covered and back in for 2 hours.

After two hours it is nice and juicy

Poured the juices over the mea and added some BBQ sauce and back in for about an hour.

All done. The picture doesn't show the moist and tenderness but they were.
