Bought this lid holder to control the temps in the CB G2G
Works great, no flare ups or standing flames.

I could use one of them for when I load the main chamber of my offset instead of (or in combination with) the fire box. Any idea what temp it is rated for. Would be nice for using the fire box as a grill if it could take the heat.

All aluminum, no idea on heat rating.

The venting is on the back but even on low heat with the top down this will still get to 400*
Guess i need to think fast infa red cooking compaired to low and slow
