So, what is the consensus here when it comes to putting aluminum foil on the very bottom of The Big Easy to advance a quicker/easier cleanup?
I am kind of a clean freak, especially when it comes to cooking and I am always looking for a way make the clean-up process easier.
Is it okay to put foil on the bottom of The Big Easy, (of course with a whole in the middle), or would that in some way mess with the cooking process?
Thanks in advanceā¦

I always use foil on the bottom my BE. Like you said, it makes for an easy clean up

Thanks RAD... If you go this way then I know it is what I should be doing as well. Thank you.

What we are suppose to clean a TBE. That's like cleaning your smoker every time you use it. (https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Su0EMC1btP0/UMqA6KYKBYI/AAAAAAAAGWc/OFtP0q7LfLQ/w37-h15-no/noidea.gif)

Good question!! I wanted to do the turkey this year in the SRG but wife needed the drippings and I would not eat them dripping on the mess I have in there now and into the collection tray. I sold my Primo so I need to get used to only cooking on the SRG or if it is not windy out I have a Lodge cast iron Hibachi.

I have never foiled the bottom of my SRG. Then again I can't remember the last time I cleaned the bottom either!

I just scrape the crud off the bottom and keep going
