Was driving home from the store and had a craving for pepper steak so call TentHunter to confirm the carb count on what I wanted to try and here it is
.7 lbs of shoulder steak cut thin
2 Tbs coconut flour = 3.0 carbs
1 med bell pepper (119 grams) = 3.5 carbs If Kimmie would have been here it would have been 5 carbs per serving
2 tsp minced onion = 3.5 carbs
salt and pepper to taste
I sauteed the peppers and onions in olive oil till the wilted down. While those were cooking down I coated the steak slices in coconut flour + salt and pepper
Once they peppers were cooked down I added the steak and cooked till brown. Pretty good and
10 net carbs ain't bad either
Only thing I will change next cook is to drop the coconut flour to save 3 carbs and try to get more flavor from the steak
