Chuckie time. 26 love.
« Reply #-1 on: October 07, 2018, 07:38:30 PM »
My 26 kettle is my favorite smoker.  Easy to adjust temps and clean up.  With the SnS the 26 kettle is a dream smoker.

Some Holy Cow on WinCo chuckie.

Fire up my SnS with one chuck of Apple cut up.

Everyone in the pool.

Oh we are looking good.  Nice color dude.

It hit 160° so I put it in a pan of goodies.  I cut up just what I had in the house.  Potatoes, carrots and green onions.

Didn't have beef juice to put in so I used bull's eye bbq sauce on top.

Cooked it until 205°.  Taste test and poison control.   Nice smoke ring.

Drained the juice off and took out veges.  Shredded chuckie and put veges  back in.

I put the gourmet chuckie mixture on top of some jasmine rice.

Outstanding.. Really, really good.

Your post reminds me -- In the freezer I've still got a bagful of the results of the last chuckie I did a couple of months ago.  It won't be as good as it was fresh out of the cooker but it'll still be good eats.   Love to make a sandwich out of smoked chuck roast  :)
