Anyone hear of this combo.

I am not in the market for anything now but I like the combo for tailgating & it would do well for mixed family eating with one product

Thoughts?

I bought of their gas grills about 25 years ago and really liked it.  I liked it a lot and it lasted quite a few years

It was sold through a company called Barbecues Galore and I thought it was their in-house brand, I guess it was not since they are still in business.  Anyway, by the time I needed some replacement parts, they had gone out of business, at least in the in the US.

I like the idea. I do wonder why he takes the pizza from the oven and then puts it on the grill part below.

I have been thinking about buying a portable pellet grill for the camper and have been thinking about taking the Ooni along. If I were to buy this, that would just be too much to take, lol.

Guess, I'm on the other side, with RG, if you have a pizza stone, why move the pie from it down to the "broiler"?

My guess is by these guys cooking on it......you need to end the cook on the bottom so that it browns the top.  You must say these guys had fun making their pizza lol

Yeah, but to me it seems like, and I cooked pizzas for two years in college, that if you can get the top up to +800º you would not need to use the broiler aspect.  I cooked on two big Blodgett gas ovens.  We ran them at about 600º and cooked both sausage and ground beef from raw on our pies.  I would move the airflow, as needed, from below the deck to get a toasty crust, to over the top to make sure taht the meats got cooked before the crust burned.  Sometimes it was a little tricky, but eventually you got the hang of it.

But, of course, you're probably right ! ! !

I agree they should be able to cook that pizza from a to z on the top. It defeats the idea of the bottom being free for steak, Chicken etc. No maybe they just did not wait long enough for it to warm up but my guess you do need the bottom oven for a char on top.

I always believed that separates were the way to go when tailgating. Same as I was not for a Generator only kitchen. Got In trouble with the magazine over it lol. If the generator goes down......so does the kitchen. I always carried a second grill with me just in-case
