I'm glad to see the Rec Tec up there, I know I'm biased but I love the one I have. I have had a few issues but Ben and Ray have gone above and beyond what I expected for customer service. They are super to work with and really take care of their customers.

NO OldSmokey !!
I'll put my OldSmokey up against any of them
except the RecTec when doing long cooks like brisket or Butt

Take it easy on Jack - after all, there is something genetic about a man and his grill or smoker in Texas!

At least you can actually BBQ on the Rec Tec.  The rest are for grillin', not Q.  ;)  Just kidding (before I get scolded for not being sensitive to others).  :D

X 2 ... I'm sure Rec Tec is a fine product and it's good to see a pooper being included on the list.

I agree it is nice to see a pellet machine on their list but I'm a tad suspicious of any list that doesn't include the Weber kettle or something close.  My very unofficial method of just looking in yards and  back yards to see what people cook on tells me that a kettle is the most common cooker around followed closely by those cheap gassers sold at the big box stores.

Glad to see Rec-Tec on the list.   But, I wonder why the SRG didn't make it?  :-[

Quite amusing. A best of list and the iconic weber kettle is not listed? Well at least they had the rec tec. The rest I have no use for.

I'm really glad that Rec-Tec made the list, but question the validity of some of the others.
