Hi, Tailgating is my Game. Glad to see you made it over here to this great site. I have never eaten there, but I have heard good things about a BBQ place called Hill Country BBQ at 410 Seventh St. NW in Washington, DC. It is my understanding that they are trying to emulate the BBQ found in the Hill Country of Texas which is pretty darn good 'que. I just pulled up their website and found out that they serve Kreuz sausage which is a Lockhart, TX staple and the best you can buy in my humble opinion. I also found out that they have a Chef de Cuisine so I'm not real sure how high fillutin' this place really is. Heaven forbid that they might make you wear a coat and tie. I've never eaten at a BBQ joint that had one of those chef thingy's.
