IR Thermometers at Harbor Freight for $24.99

Today's paper had an advertising insert in it from Harbor Freight saying their $49.99 IR thermometer is on sale for $24.99.

If you ain't got one of these you are missing out on having a great tool for your cooking. It measures grate temp as well as just about anything else that gives off heat.  Shoot, someone told me they measured their wife's butt temp for some reason.  Don't know why but they were appreciative that it could be done from a distance.

Check it out and get one.  You'll be surprised how often you use it.

This little therm is ideal for giving you the temps at the grates.
I like to use it inside as well to give me the temps of the skillet, the griddle, etc.

A friend showed me how to use it to determine the temps at the air ducts and air return so I can check the efficiency of my HAC.

Agreed.  The HF one (especially for that price) is a nice tool.
