Hurricane ribs
« Reply #-1 on: October 07, 2013, 04:37:38 PM »
Well, The weather people were despite this last week. Batten down the hatches, on and on and on. In the end we got a few hours of nice tropical rain.
It just happened to be the hours I was cooking ribs.  Kerry's kids were coming over for a late birthday get together.
I'm not sure why but I seem to cook better in the rain.
Grabbed these ribs at the local Piggly Wiggly this morning. They have now started stocking restaurant supplies and some food items. Got a large can of crab claw meat for 7 bucks so I decided make some stuffed jalapenos and mushrooms.  Added tomato and avocado to top the peppers. May have to grab a few more of those peppers for tonight...

looks good.  like the idea of the crab stuffed mushrooms.  Crabbing season is coming and I will have to give that a shot when I get me a few Dungeness crabs.

Terry, Fine looking meal.  Can't get that good of a deal on crab meat around here.  Dee
