Ribs Today
« Reply #-1 on: October 27, 2013, 12:01:52 PM »
Ribs today

Got a couple of racks of SL ribs going with some beef ribs that look pretty meaty.

Beef were done with S&P only.

SL’s were done with some CYM and one has the FS&B (I had to open my second bottle) and the other has Bad Byron

About 3 yours in and I decided not to foil them because they look so nice.

They do look nice!

This is rib day. I am doing a bunch of ribs today as well. Must be the time of the month.

At the four hour mark the beef ribs were ready.

Very meaty and very tasty. Nothing but S&P was needed.

Looks good Rad, I have some beef ribs in the freezer I need to cook. You still live down in Pensacola? Thinking about heading down that way in about 2 weeks.

Just short of five hours the ribs passed the bend test.

I tasted one from each rack before looking for the toothpicks, to give it a non-bias test, and I would have to say the FS&B has a much better and less salty taste then the BBBR. Don’t get me wrong both were very good I just liked the less salt taste and flavors from the FS&B. So, Tee, do you have the large sizes on line yet?
