How many cups of pellets would you say you use from start to finish on your pizza cooks?

Probably around 3 cups for 30 minutes of burn time.

I am a but slow at making the pizzas so I go through more pellets. I suppose if you had a prep table out by the oven you could get quite a few pies done in 30 minutes.

Thanks, I figure I used 2 cups on the my first one. Thinking I should have let it heat up more before cooking.

The more pellets you start with the bigger the fire will be.

I had to find the right amount after a few cooks.

When I first started using it I was using too many pellets to start and that thing got really hot!!! Too hot ???

That was when the flame was lipping out the front with the door off!
