It's a John Boos 30x30x10 that usually runs around $1100-1200 (plus about $1million to ship to Hawaii). A few years ago I was getting ready to renovate the kitchen and saw it on Craigslist - a young Air Force officer had shipped it over with his household goods, didn't have room for it and didn't want to store it.  He took $300 and I took the block. One of the best deals I ever made.

Definitely looks like my kind of dinner - the end grain block was an exceptional deal - today $300 will barely get you a good quality counter top block
