Not sure if this works but it's worth a try.
 To make your grill non-stick all you need to do is cut an onion in half and rub the cut side on the heated grill grate. Pam

Amazing!  Is it relatively permanent or do you do it for each cook?

Has anyone tried it on a SS or CI frying pan?

Spraying it with Pam, the kind in the can not LTTBBQ's Pam, sounds easier and less expensive.
