Post by: CaptJack on December 21, 2014, 09:26:50 PM
legs & breasts direct roasted on the OldSmokey
8" direct over the charcoal

i slit them with my fillet knife (like Cozumel fish on the beach)
dribbled Italian salad dressing over them
seasoned with Mrs.Dash
the legs and the small breast finished at 1hr
the big breast finished at 1h30m
i never turned them or touched them

Some good looking chicken CJ!!! I slit a spatchcocked one like that once and had a sauce on it. Not sure why I never did it again. At the time I know I thought it would get some of the seasoning and sauce taste in the meat. What did you think of it? Don
