I didn't use wood chips. Just let it "roast". It's disgusting. Making a flank steak now on the gas grill.

I should have went indirect heat in lieu of direct. Sorry for venting folks, Hurricane Sandy has my attention lately. It was just a bad ending to a bad day, that's all.
