Was looking for a drip pan instead of using foil all the time. So I stubble across a 22 inch 2 1/2 inch deep aluminum drip pan used for hot water tanks from Home Depot $18.00.
It fits almost perfect in the Weber 26.75 kettle.
I cut it down to fit and work with the SNS XL.
I'm going to order the medium vortex tomorrow and the small opening is 8 inches from what I read. So I'm going to get another drip pan from Home Depot and cut a 7 1/2 inch hole in the middle and use it as a drip pan when doing wings.
When I do get that done I will post pics of that as well.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170212/b825e86fb72693c6ee681cac2cf86bd3.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170212/2392132cd5325b98f497603877fa3d13.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170212/f9afad291101383544c1df0c89bccf11.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170212/296f8f7913411a85560a22620ec8e848.jpg)

Thanks but please no one buy this yet for this modification!!!!!!! It might not be food safe I pm'ed some one since I seen another post and there gonna look into it to make sure. They should be along shortly to give us all his opinion to see if it's safe to use!!!!!!

I think it is a nice mod...but remember - it is up to each individual to determine the safety for use. If I understand it - this pan will be for charcoal, and not direct food contact?

I've decide to scratch this modification and use foil till I find something that I feel would be safe for sure to use as a drip pan.
