Title: Interview with Tim Tucker
Post by: abcbarbecue on February 16, 2017, 09:44:16 AM
Hey folks I'm about to drive over to Teesquare's house to cook up some ribs on his new Slow 'N Sear and talk about Adrenaline Barbecue Company.  All will be captured on Video!  He plans on asking me about how I got into barbecue, invented the Slow 'N Sear, why the SnS is special, and how ABC became a sponsor for LTBBQ.  If you have any questions you'd like him to ask list them here for consideration!

Also, video makes me nervous, so I could use a pep talk. LOL  8)

When you start talking bbq, which is your specialty, the talk will flow..just ignore the video and you will be just fine. Besides Tee is funny and friendly, just sayin   .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

If you stop in Texas on the way, I'll be sure to give you a good pep talk. :-)  Seriously, best of luck!

Good luck! Sounds like fun!
Some advice tho....don't sit downwind of Tim if he's had beans, beer or cauliflower!  ::)
Pappy is not around so somebody had to take the bull by the horns!  :D

If he starts calling you Clarice while breaking bread you may want to excuse yourself to the can and get the heck out of there.

You have the right idea...go to HIS place...don't invite him over - he may never leave.

Watch out for the big words he'll try to use.  The sunglasses are a good precaution.

Other than that, I think we'll all be lookin' forward to the show.

Your groceries look fantastic!  I'll take a small plate, please.

How do you like the SnS?  Have any issues getting the right temp?  What temp did you cook the ribs?

That sausage was OUT OF THIS WORLD.  I'm totally stealing Tim's recipe.  Ribs were magnificent.  Bacon was a religious experience.  Tim can cook!

Art...anyone that owns a Weber kettle should own the Slow N Sear. I was absolutely blown away at how solid the temperature held. I have only positive takeaways from my first use. And there was NO added learning curve. If you are fmiliar with your Weber....the Slow-n-Sear does not complicate operation of it. In fact...it evens out the normally expected temp spikes and dips. As close to magic as quality engineering can get.
I cooked the ribs at about 250F and there was enough charcoal left to cook another set of ribs.

Let's just say there are some things I know today, that I didn't know Wednesday, that I can't un-know, nor can I talk about them.   :o
