Doing a 10# butt,today, on the Rec Tec Mini. Have Mini set at 235 degrees. Going to mop butt with a Carolina Mop Sauce every 45 min's.. Have always wrapped butts, but today going to try without wrapping.

I never wrap my butts. I think you get a firmer bark. (which I personally like)

6 1/4 hours and butt hit 160. This is where I usually wrap, but going naked today. :thumbup:

11 3/4 hours and it hit 195. Now going to wrap in foil and in a cooler for 1-2 hours. Barkmeister....yes???
