The cheese bread mixture I have been using really works well, so having time tonight I thought I would try some changes to the recipe. This time I used Cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella and made a smaller batch
I used..... 1 cup cheddar cheese
3/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup parmesan
pinch of salt
Since cheddar cheese has more oil content than the other cheeses I have used I had to cut back on the cheese and use the same amount of flour to make it work out
Dough was good, turned out sorta like a pie crust nice and flaky

It look very good Tommy. And I see cheese and bacon....Did you hide some jalapeños in it to make it Mexican?

cast iron might help don't know
The original recipe calls for you to brush the dough with egg before baking to help get it brown but I used cheddar cheese which has more oil so I was thinking it wouldn't need the egg
I'm finding so many useful ways to use this type dough and still stay low carb.
I have so many ideas to try ;)

:D. There was bacon!! Didn't have any other meat ready so I tossed on leftover bacon :thumbup:

What is leftover bacon?? I saw a show on Diners, drive-ins & Dives..they guy made a crustless pizza on the flat top..big handfuls of cheddar cheese, he let it cook till almost melted..then added pizza toppings, it looked fabulous. Gonna try it..that would work with my cast iron pizza pan or thegriddle in the center of my stove., even on a pizza stone in the middle of my Weber.. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
