Kimmie and I have been doing low carb since the 26th of Jan. I'm down 48 lbs Kimmie is down 38 we both feel better and we both have backed off of sweets and breads. So being a low carb diet can be a challenge we look for new recipes all the time and tweak old ones like breaded steak where I use Almond flour instead of bread crumbs, coconut flour works well also. Spaghetti squash in place of pasta and I use more coconut oil and olive to fry in than before.
This recipe is one we took from the internet and change a few things to make it better tasting. This recipe calls for chicken but I prefer Italian Sausage instead.
I'll post the recipe later (at work now) But it's Italian sausage patties covered in a mixture of ground pork rinds, Flax seed flour and a few other ingredients
Again, I'll post the complete recipe and carb count later ;)

Looks very good.
There seems to be more Low Carb folks on this site. Should we look at a tab for all these great low carb recipes?

I would vote for yes. Hard sifting through healthy alternative section when that can mean a lot of things

Recipe for the Deep Dish crustless pizza
Meat.. 1 to 1 1/2 lb of Italian sausage

Pure olive oil to pan fry
Coating for meat...
2.5 oz of plane pork rinds (ground up like bread crumbs)
1/4 cup flaxseed meal
1/2 cup parmeasane cheese (shredded)
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp paprika
1 large egg
1/4 cup olive oil
Sauce...
1 cup Rao's Tomato Sauce (carb count of 8 total)
1/2 tsp garlic minced
1/2 tsp oregano
salt/pepper to taste
Prep..
Form sausage into four patties, dip in egg/oil wash then coat with pork rind mix. After coating sausage place in fridge for a few hrs
to set coating
Pan fry in oil (pure olive oil, not virgin olive oil) till crisp
drain on papper towel
Next, mix the sauce up
Place cooked sausage in 8x8 square plate, pour sauce over cooked sausage then add the mozzarella to top off. Bake at 400 for 10 to 12 mins
or until top of cheese starts to brown. Remove top with the remaining parmeasane let stand a fe mins then enjoy

by putting this meat in the frig to set, I bet you could use it in an air fryer instead of frying...just sayin. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
