Tried a new baked taco recipe. This was MUCH better than my last taco bake..
I used a new dough recipe for the crust and boy it worked great
Recipe for the dough....
2 cups Mozzarella shreded cheese
1 1/2 cups of Almond flour
2 tsp of Cumin
1 large egg
Salt and Pepper to taste
How to mix...
Melt cheese in a microwave safe bowl, then add almond flour and cumin mix well. Add 1 egg and salt and pepper mix till a dough ball is formed. Place ball in between two sheets op wax papper sprayed with oil on both side (if you dont this stuff stick badley) after you roll it out place on a coookie sheet sprayed again with oil (don't ask me how I know this works) add you precooked meat and cheese and any other toppings you want, fold over brush with butter.
Bake at 425 for 18 mins ir until the crust is golden brown, let cool and dress with sour cream, lettuce or whatever you want .
NOTE: Some taco seasonings are high in carbs so look at the package before buying. Carbs are everywhere and you must read or your going to add carbs you didn't know were there.... The seasoning I use is a Clff invention and it is wonderful, but unless he lets me I can't give out the recipe

Better than the last one. I believe the butter really helped out and the cumin added that extra flavor

Good job Tommy, the finished product sure looks delicious. Another good use for the almond flour.

Tomy, that looks delicious.

That looks great. I'm going to have to give this a try soon. I bet it would also work well with a Calzone type stuffing and low carb pizza sauce. Thanks for sharing!

Looks good, would like to try it.
Where do you get the almond flour and what kind? I've looked on Amazon and it appears to be quite pricey.
