a great time was had by all.  i will admit i had my share of drinks and someone else's share too.  and not once did my wife yell at me that i was drinking to much.  i'm getting better at this.  i cooked everything in stages w/ little starter cooks early in the day to practice to get some food in me (wife's orders).  the days starts off w/ a quad patch of M3

action shot (oh my gosh, the man is multi talented and wicked cute).

bagged up 2 tris and 1/2 rack of ribs.

for the chicken wings i used chili oil instead of grape oil.  oh, hot.  very hot.

the other tri i used some sweet lou's and tatonka dust.

the other rack of ribs got some maynards (i'm loving this for my ribs, great flavor profile).

got a full hopper of oak.

time to kick the tires and she what these girls can do.

cont w/ 4th july food fest.

Lookin' good, my friend!!  You had some serious smokin' going on there.

I had a late lunch with Tee this afternoon.  He stopped by at the right time.  I was out of gas.  I had spent about four hours working in the yard in the heat.  When he arrived, I decided that it was a great time to head inside and get a cold shower.  We went out and ended up spending more time in the restaurant than we had planned.  The skies opened up with a terrential downpour.  sounds like you got the last of Tee's M3.  I will have to wait until he gets another batch made up.

P.S.  I like your towels!

That is a beautiful cook, beautiful day with obvious fun, and lots of good food --- from lots of hard work.  Good on you.
