Here are a few tips I ran across.
Now that fresh corn is in season, one of the things we face is how to get the silk off of it. Try this..wrap a large rubber band around your fingers and then rub it against the corn kernels. The silk gets trapped in the rubber band leaving a clean cob around.
(As an irrevelant aside. Speaking of corn cobs, I found out there is now a game out there called "corn holing". When I first heard that I almost swallowed my snuff. "Corn holing" had a completely different meaning when I was a kid and we definitely did not talk about having a "corn hole tournament as I heard advertised on the radio yesterday.)
Sometimes I've cooked bacon in the oven on some tin foil and it would stick to the foil. I guess this idea will work on the grill also. Next time just crumble up the tin foil and uncrumble it. Then when you cook your bacon on it all them little ridges will keep it from stickin'.
