Chicken Fried Steak
« Reply #-1 on: January 26, 2015, 10:05:52 PM »
When we found our house Wendy liked the large country kitchen. I like the kitchen as well, especially when Wendy goes in there and cooks.  :P

Tonight was homemade chicken fried steak, homemade mashed taters, drop peppered gravy and some sweet corn. Of course the dinner rolls were handmade as well.

Smoke is one lucky guy  8)

Oh, and I went back and slathered the gravy on thicker after the picture was taken  8) 8)

Got Smoke?

Wendy must be from the South or had family who was. That is a perfect Southern Sunday after church dinner. Remember that down South dinner was the lunch or afternoon meal and the night time meal was called Supper.

I had some killer chicken fried steak for lunch today at the Moose Cafe in Hendersonville.  One of the tastiest I have had in years.  I'll go back for that lunch, again.
