Ribs in the PC
« Reply #-1 on: March 03, 2015, 04:05:23 PM »
With all the talk about using Pressure Cookers lately I felt the pressure to give it a try and wanted to try something different.

I cut a slab of ribs St. Louis style. Rubbed with some S/P/G and a little cayenne pepper
Placed in the Weber with the a-maze-n-tube for about an hour

Put in the PC with a beer

Left the default settings and let it go for 15 minutes

Meanwhile I get the weber going. I used the old charcoal from the cook the other night that I put out by closing down all vents on the grill.

Once the ribs were done in the PC

I gave them a light coat of sweet baby rays with a little of sriracha hot sauce added to the mix

Grilled them for a few minutes to crunch up and add some color.

Sliced

and plated

Now, I thought the ribs were pretty darn good. Not bad at all for ribs under two hours. But to be certain I brought a half rack to work and did not tell anyone how I cooked them until they had some. Yeah, pretty darn good ribs.
Love to cook and eat

Smoke was light. Next time I might add some smoke while I grill them. Otherwise, they were really good.
