Got this recipe from Table for Two. (They have no idea why this is called Mississippi Roast) They claim it tastes like more and there will be a fist fight for leftovers (if there are any)
Well, I figure Pappy cooks in his oven and now so does Muebe, so
The Smoke has gotten out the crock pot. Snow showers, 45 mph winds and 26 degrees made that decision a bit easier
Whatcha need:
3 lb chuckie
1 oz powdered Ranch mix
1 oz Au Jus packet
1 cube unsalted butter
6 Peppericini peppers
add 1/4 cup of water to your crock pot
set the chuckie in the crock pot
pour ranch and au jus powder on top of the chuckie
set the cube of butter on top
arrange the 6 peppericini peppers around the chuckie
set your crock pot for 8 hours
shred and enjoy

I did do a couple of things different:
I browned the chuckie (more flavor this way) ( I might've added a sprinkle of Grizzly Joes
)
I used salted butter (hey, why not?)
The crockpot is set for 10 hours (the lower and slower the better, I always say)
