I use a portable one for tailgating that is great but very small. I also stay away from using a outdoor home fryer more because of cost & health.

That being said this one looks great.     http://www.webstaurantstore.com/r-v-works-ff6-r-17-gallon-outdoor-cajun-deep-fryer/698FF6R.html?utm_source=facebook-pla&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=is4&utm_content=vpdesk

That portable fryer would be good for a food vendor.

We have a small fryer and honestly don't use it enough, so buying oil for it is a waste of money.

Same here I have done wings on my fryer at Jet games & my son loves fries on it. The problem is the oil & the amount of times we use it.

I would think the people that fry fish use theirs often.  But I see big money spent here on cookers  but not on fryers so I would think it is not as important for most or you can do the same job for less money.  I also have the IR Big easy turkey fryer so I am covered there. The time I did wings at the jet game I also grilled wings along with frying them & that was fun having wings two ways before a game.

I love deep fried but never liked to do it indoors, the smell lasted too long. What I miss the most are good French fries. If I do any now I do it in my 6 quart Dutch oven outdoors on my Camp Chef burner. Don
Traeger 07E pellet smoker
Weber E210 gas grill
Weber Jumbo Joe Charcoal
Camp Chef Pro 30 gas burner
Camp Chef Iron Griddle
Lodge CI Hibachi
Instant Pot Pressure Cooker
I am not aging, just marinating
I think I am starting to age!

We have a 2 qt deep fryer and the big Masterbuilt indoor turkey fryer.
We don't use 'em often, but they both do their jobs well.

We stopped deep frying everything about twenty years ago for two reasons. 1) health 2) mess, smell, lots of wasted oil. If we need anything fried which we try not to do, we use organic lard in a CI pan about 1/4" deep. Most oils at high frying heat are terrible for us!
