Hey y'all, my name is Justin and I'm from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I found this site through a random google search because I wanted to learn more about cooking and wow, what a resource! I've learned a lot over the last several weeks just browsing around different topics. I decided to join in on the fun! I am no experienced chef by any means, I am a beginner in every way. There's a few things I know how to make, but they're pretty basic... Fried fish, grilled redfish on the half shell, etc. One of my other big interests is fishing. I joined some forums for that hobby back when I was in high school and college. I learned a lot of what I know today because of those forums. So I figured this would be a good way to get started/better at cooking! I mostly joined for discussion about cooking on the Big Easy, so that's probably where I'll spend the majority of my time. However, I'd like to learn how to grill better as well. So I'll probably be there too. I'm looking forward to learning and contributing wherever I can to the discussion. Thanks for having me!
