Cast Iron Cafe

One of the ladys at my wifes work said you gotta try this little place. So we did today

Here are some pics.

I had the country fried steak which was homemade. smashed taters, fried okra and homemade biscuit.

My wife had hamburger steak cooked like she likes.

Inside.

I only seen this once before. Y'all know what it is and what it does?

The bag of water is to discourage flies from coming in...It does seem to work - tho I have not had a "fly behavior expert" explain WHY it works... :D

BTW - I will bet you were on your best behavior in that cafe...With ALL those cast iron skillets hanging around, and plenty of women to swing 'em! :D

Tee,
Rick's not like that at all, (except when he has been drinking, heavily)!!  If that is the case, there would be a wheel barrow somewhere close by.  10.5 can verify this, I'm sure.  In fact several others may be abve to testify on his behalf, either for him or against him.  Just saying...

The water supposedly messes with the flies vision since they have thousands of lenses and can see in all directions at once.

The ziploc bag trick works in Ohio at the campground. Wish it worked on skeeters too. I guess the flies eyes have a bunch of facets and it makes them crazy. But it works and is cheap. I hang one from the unbrella. Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Mythbusters couldn't get the water bag to work, but that doesn't mean it doesn't.

They can't get washington to work either. :)
