Sept 6, 2019 was my birthday and I turned 87yrs old. Soooo to the freezer and remove two nice rib eyes.
OO, S&P, GP, OP, Smoked Paprika. On to the Weber for a indirect cook/smoke, then over the hot coals and some hickory chips for a quick sear.
Both steaks stacked for a brief rest.
Plated, IT @ 132*, sooo tender and tasty. Ms Hickory made a fresh peach cobbler, warm-hot and topped with French Vanilla Ice Cream, delicious. I am so fortunate and blessed. I am a very lucky man.
It was a good day.
