Skirt Steak with smashed potatoes
« Reply #-1 on: March 13, 2023, 07:15:01 AM »
Wife and daughters were still out in California, I had to come home for work  :( but I was able to make some things I normally wouldn't while they were home.

I marinated a skirt steak with some prepackaged Carne Asda seasoning from whole foods.  It was cold so I decided to just get a cast iron pan blazing hot and sear on both sides about 3-4 minutes. Once flipped I squeezed some fresh lime juice on it. I cut the whole steak in half and saved the other half for left over tacos for lunch this week.

Smashed potatoes were boiled, then roasted with garlic oil, salt, and pepper

Working on my focaccia game, getting there just not quite where I want it.

It certainly does (but it would look even better on a plate in my house).

Jus' sayin'...

I would also like to see it on a plate at your house. I'm sure you would share.
