Burgers and tots!

Grilled bacon bacon burgers and tots with onion rings.
Burger got a dusting of double secret rub,smoked cheddar from a month ago, jalapeños and some habanero sauce.
Can you say TASTY?

I cooked some thicker burgers (80/20 mix) the other night on my Weber.  The fire was hot and the flare up took the hair off my left hand.  I plan to make some more next week, but I think I will try "thinner" this time.  Less time for the drippings to flare up, I hope.

I'm going to plead "asleep at the wheel".  My Grill Grates from  my MAK are sitting right there on the table and I forgot to put them on the Weber.  DUH!!  And I hadn't even cracked open a cold one.  Maybe that was the problem.

Now that's the kind of burger my son and I can both sink our teeth into, although we'd both would want pepper jack cheese as well (We love the heat)!


Chili, that El Yucateco is good stuff. Do you prefer the red or the green?

What temp did you run that at with the GG?
