Couldn't let a little rain stop me. Especially since I'm going to be away for a couple of days and won't be able to cook.
So, I'm planning on keeping the PBC with the other cookers, on the patio, under the deck. First order of business, cover the deck with a tarp, so the rain won't we make me (or the PBC) melt.
Stopped by the grocery on the way home, picked up Kingsford charcoal and lighter fluid, baby back ribs, a whole chicken, and a pork shoulder (the shoulder if for later).
I've been watching the vids (OK, more than once) so, I knew the ribs would take longer. I followed the directions to light the charcoal, waited for the flames to subside, and prepared the baby back ribs, just like Noah does in the video. After 20 minutes, I put the ribs on the PBC.
I was planning to wait with the chicken, so they would finish together, but I know my wife will not want to wait that late to eat. I went ahead and got the chicken halved, seasoned and on the PBC. Things are looking good.
Dee snapped these pictures for me. ;-)
