That is the way I grew up, dinner was the mid day meal, supper was the evening meal.

That's the way I grew up, also. Since, I have lived in the big city for a while, lunch is now at noon and dinner is the main evening meal. I guess I feel much more suave and sophiscated now.

I am a Middle Tennessee native and I still live in Nashville. Where are you from originally?

I was born and raised in McMinnville, Tennessee.  Worked in Nashville many years.  Moved to California 1971.
