We were planning on having smoked pork chops with sauerkraut and some kind of sausage this week. But I had a hankering for a batch of Hub's sausage balls as well. Bingo.....the lightbulb went off. I started by making the balls only not using hot sausage and substituting Swiss cheese for the called for cheddar. They came out tasty but to put in the pressure cooker I was concerned that they might be too soft on top so I broiled the tops for 3 min.
Next, assembled the ingredients, browned onion in the bacon, diced. Added wine, potatoes,apple, caraway seed, sauerkraut, chops and sausage balls. Brought up to pressure, cooked 4 minutes and it was time to eat!
