My wife and I hit a little bump in the road here for a spell. She lost her job back in September and just found a job here 2 weeks ago. Nothing that any of us haven't experience a time or two in our lives. Seems like evry couple of years we have this and have to re-learn survival. I know we still have more than most and we are truly blessed. These bumps have taught us how to do more with less. We've made 1 month of protein last over 2 months. Well enough of my rant. We went to the store and stocked up, here 2 of the pack of 6 t bones we got.
Kept it easy peasy with just S&P, we really enjoy the flavor of meats. Fired up the chimney and sat outside with it caught flame. It was a beautiful evening.
I broke out the sear plate to get some nice grill marks. Here they are on the turn.
I've found 3 nice CI pans and have restored them. I think I paid less than $15 for all three. A 13' a 10' and a 3' plus a corn muffin pan. Here's the 10' getting the call for some hasselbacks. These were done in the oven, Just a little chez plez.
Here they are finished and getting ready to hit my pie hole.
I like easy and flavorful. A little closer shot.
And supper is served my friends. Thanks for looking!
